Whilst doing some internet roaming for interesting things to blog about I came across this E-Magazine, FRYD design. It is downloadable and even available in English however, with images this beautiful words aren't really needed. Here are some of my favourite photos from it, along with the link underneath.

I love this magazine and the idea of it. The idea of having an E- Magazine is something which really excites me, when seeing such lovely examples such as this, it really inspires me to create page layouts and get the camera out to take some great lifestyle photographs. I especially like the use of quotes and fun title pages... such a great find that I'll undoubtedly become an avid follower of.

I'm going to carry on with some research into e-magazines as I think it's an area which can sometimes be overlooked by the more popular, monthly publications.

Also, here is my set for the day. I'm liking the "grown up" hippy, bohemian look at the moment and such inspired me when putting this set together.

Happy Sunday a little earlier...

Hey everyone, so I wont be able to update this weekend, so I will do my "happy Sunday" a little earlier instead. Rather that than not do it at all.

The more boards I am creating, the more I've realised that I keep going to use the same suitcase and sun glasses in each set. I think my hunger for a bit of travelling is getting the better of me, it's probably evident in atleast half of my sets.

I hope to get away around September, like I did last year. I'm really like the look of Italy, unfortunately my bank balance isn't.

We shall see.

Concept Boards... a new feature

Here are some more of my concept boards which I have created. I'm so in love with doing them that I have decided to start posting a new one each day starting from Monday, encapsulating my mood or inspiration from that day. I think it's a great way to combine imagery and text, especially for fashion. I will start creating some interior boards too, a nice mix of both could work well, so time to start experimenting and flexing my creative muscles....

a new addiction...

Long time no see. It has been a shamefully long time since I last updated, pangs of guilt have been a regular occurrence for me so it's about time I got back to blogging.

Since my last post I have finished my final uni project, had my degree show and now have officially ended my degree. Looking forward to relaxing for the summer and embarking on some new adventures in the real world. Things are looking promising so far... I shall update you with the outcomes of these possible adventures in due course.

But for now I must share a new addiction of mine. My lovely friend Katie introduced me to this website called polyvore.com.... she thought it would interest me as it allows you to build up concept and trend boards... and boy was she right. I am immediately hook line and sinker for this site. It allows me to do my FAVOURITE thing in the entire world which is concept boards and trend pages, I have already created two "sets" as they are called on the site. I am a beginner but I am already thoroughly enjoying it and fear that I may become obsessed. I thought I'd share my first two sets to give you a taste of what the site can allow you to do, so any like minded people can go along to the website and check it out. I'm sure you will love it too!
