a perfect pattern....

Hello all.

So today whilst out and about in the city I saw the prettiest paisley scarf in H&M, resisting temptation (until next week), I left the store without buying it but it triggered me to come home and delve into the wonderful world of pattern. As all of my good friends know, I love decorative surface patterns, whether it is intricate, traditional design such as that of William Morris or more contemporary geometric patterns I just can't get enough of them.
With this I pulled out some of my favourite looks from Vogue and Style.com - all of course, focusing around pattern. I must say, even though there are many beautiful designs out there, Matthew Williamson remains the master of pattern.... but then again, once you work with Pucci, it's inevitable.

And finally, the man himelf, Matthew Williamson. These frocks are so pretty they're almost worthy of being framed. Delightful.

Hope you enjoy these as much as I did.
