Sprung...

One of my new sets - I am beyond obsessed with shirts, blouses, shirts dresses at the moment so I decided to take inspiration from this and create a set showcasing my 12 favourite pieces of the moment.

If you click on the link below the set you will be directed to my page on polyvore where you will be able to see the cost and brand of each blouse as well as my other sets.

Enjoy

I wish...

Whilst in Shrewsbury on the weekend I stumbled across a shop ( be it the shop window as we were driving past on the way to the wedding ceremony) called Vinegar Hill. I didn't have the chance to go in however as soon as I got in I searched to see whether they were online. And to my delight they were. From the products, to the visual merchandising, colour schemes and layout... well I adore it all. If I were to have my own shop (fingers crossed in the future this will be a reality) I would take great inspiration from this store. Its inviting, individual and seems easy to shop in. Turns out that there are 6 Vinegar Hill stores spotted about in the UK, Shrewsbury, Bath, Bristol, Stratford (x2) and Cheltenham. I am dying to go back to Shrewsbury and have the chance to actually go in-store instead of falling in love whilst only whizzing past.

To help you understand why I am so enthusiastic and smitten with this store I have pulled some images from their website (which by the way is a little piece of art in itself!)

picture perfect...

Hello all,

I must say that I am more than tired (dare I say a little blurry eyed thanks to a tipple or two) this evening, after a long but lovely weekend away at a friends relatives wedding I am ready to curl up and look at some beautiful images. And who fits the bill perfectly? The amazingly talented Claire Cole.

I have been a fan of hers for a long time now, the botanical themes used within her work, along with the innovative use of embroidery is always something to behold. What I would give to have a framed piece of her work. Even the little treats on her website such as the gift cards and the brilliant mugs... embroidered porcelain. Genius.

Below is a selection of her beautiful work.

ENJOY!
